The Book of Allah (the Quran) and the Sunnah of His Prophet.
What is the Shahadah, and what are its two parts?

What does the Shahadah signify and require of a believer?
It signifies acceptance of Allah's exclusive Oneness (Tawheed) and the prophethood of Muhammad (PBUH); sincere pronouncement and belief makes one a Muslim and obligates following both.
