Using Examius
How do I import an exam syllabus?
Open the app, tap the plus button on the dashboard, search for your exam by name, and tap Import. The whole tree — subject, chapter, topic and sub-topic — is added to your planner. All 675 syllabuses on this website are available in the app.
My exam is not in the list. What now?
Create a custom subject and add chapters and topics yourself, or email info@examius.com with the exam name and a link to its official syllabus and we will look at adding it to the catalog.
How does progress get calculated?
Completion rolls up from the bottom. Ticking sub-topics fills its topic, topics fill their chapter, chapters fill the subject, and subjects fill the exam. That is why the dashboard percentage tracks real coverage rather than time spent.
How do the flashcards get scheduled?
Each card has its own interval. Rate a card as hard and it comes back quickly; rate it easy and the gap widens. The app surfaces only the cards that are due, drawn from 4,289 decks totalling 227,948 cards.
Why do I not see the same syllabus as a friend in another country?
The catalog is country-aware. Your selected country filters which exams appear first, because the same subject name can mean very different papers in different systems. Change it in Settings at any time.
How do I remove ads?
Buy the paid upgrade from inside the app. Once the entitlement is active no ad requests are made at all.
How do I delete my account and data?
Settings → Account → Delete account removes your profile and leaderboard statistics from our servers. On-device study data is removed by deleting the app. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Open Settings → Restore purchases. On iOS this uses your Apple ID, on Android your Google account. If you signed in to Examius, the entitlement follows your account automatically.
Does Examius work offline?
Yes. Syllabuses and any decks you have opened are cached on device. Only leaderboards and first-time deck downloads need a connection.
I found a mistake in a syllabus. How do I report it?
Email info@examius.com with the exam, the subject and what is wrong. Corrections go into the next catalog build and reach the app on its next sync.
