How Examius works
1. Import your syllabus
Search your exam, tap import, and the whole four-level tree — subject, chapter, topic, sub-topic — lands in your planner. No manual data entry.
2. Tick off what you cover
Progress rolls up from sub-topic to subject, so the percentage on your dashboard reflects real coverage instead of hours logged.
3. Drill the gaps
227,948 flashcards across 4,289 decks, scheduled with spaced repetition so weak cards come back sooner.
Common questions
What is Examius?
Examius is a free study tracker for exam candidates. It holds 675 exam syllabuses broken down into 4,211 subjects, 20,876 chapters and 75,145 topics, so you import your exam once and then tick off what you have actually covered.
Is Examius free?
Yes. Browsing every syllabus on this site is free, and the app is free to install and use for syllabus tracking, flashcards, the study timer and streaks. An optional paid tier removes ads and unlocks extras.
Which exams are covered?
675 exams across 54 categories and five regions — India, Pakistan, United States, United Kingdom and worldwide qualifications. That includes medical and engineering entrance tests, civil service exams, school boards, professional licensing and programming certifications.
Where do the flashcards come from?
Every subject has its own deck, 227,948 question-and-answer cards in total across 4,289 decks, written against the syllabus for that subject. A free sample of each deck is readable on this site without installing anything.
Do I need an account?
No. Study data lives on your device by default. An optional account (Google or Apple sign-in) exists only if you want leaderboards and to sync across devices.
Does Examius work offline?
Yes. Syllabuses and flashcard decks are cached on the device after first download, so tracking and revision work without a connection.
