What is Tauheed in Islam, and what are its three main categories?
Tauheed is the belief in the absolute Oneness of Allah. Its three categories are: Tauheed-e-Rububiyyah (Oneness of Lordship/creation and sustenance), Tauheed-e-Uluhiyyah/Ibadah (Oneness of worship), and Tauheed-e-Asma-wa-Sifaat (Oneness of Allah's names and attributes).
What is the opposite of Tauheed, and why is it considered the gravest sin in Islam?
The opposite is Shirk (associating partners with Allah). It is the gravest sin because the Quran (4:48) states that Allah may forgive any sin except Shirk if a person dies upon it.
What does Risalat mean, and how is a Rasul distinguished from a Nabi?
Risalat means Prophethood/Messengership. A Nabi is a prophet who receives revelation; a Rasul is a messenger who additionally brings a new Shariah (law/scripture). Every Rasul is a Nabi, but not every Nabi is a Rasul.
What is Khatm-e-Nubuwwat (Finality of Prophethood), and which Quranic verse establishes it?
It is the doctrine that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the last and final prophet, with no prophet after him. It is established by Surah Al-Ahzab (33:40), which calls him 'Khatam an-Nabiyyin' (the Seal of the Prophets).
How many prophets and messengers are traditionally said to have been sent, according to Hadith?
According to Hadith, approximately 124,000 prophets were sent, of whom 313 (or 315) were messengers (Rusul). 25 prophets are named in the Quran.
What is Aakhirat, and what are the two main phases a soul passes through after death before Judgment?
Aakhirat is the belief in the Hereafter/life after death. After death the soul enters Barzakh (the intermediate state/grave life), then is resurrected on the Day of Resurrection (Yaum-ul-Qiyamah) for Judgment.
List the key stages of the Day of Judgment in Islamic belief.
Ba'th (resurrection), Hashr (gathering at the plain of Mahshar), Hisab (accounting of deeds), weighing of deeds on the Mizan (scale), crossing the Pul-Siraat (bridge), and entry into Jannah (Paradise) or Jahannam (Hell).
What is the 'Mizan' and the 'Pul-Siraat' in the context of the Day of Judgment?
The Mizan is the Scale on which human deeds are weighed; good deeds outweighing bad lead to salvation. The Pul-Siraat is the bridge over Hell that every person must cross to reach Paradise.
In which year and city was Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) born, and what is that year commonly called?
He was born in Makkah in 570 CE, commonly known as the 'Aam-ul-Feel' (Year of the Elephant), referring to Abraha's failed attack on the Ka'bah.
At what age did the Prophet (PBUH) receive his first revelation, and through whom, where, and which Surah was first revealed?
At age 40, the first revelation came through Angel Jibreel (Gabriel) in the Cave of Hira on Mount Noor. The first revealed verses were the opening verses of Surah Al-Alaq (96:1-5), beginning 'Iqra' (Read).
What characterized the early (secret) phase of Da'wah in the Makkan period, and who were among the first converts?
For the first about three years, the Prophet (PBUH) preached secretly. The earliest converts (As-Sabiqun al-Awwalun) included Khadijah (RA), Abu Bakr (RA), Ali (RA), and Zaid bin Harithah (RA).
What was the social and economic boycott of Banu Hashim, and how long did it last?

What is the 'Aam-ul-Huzn' (Year of Sorrow), and why is it significant?
It is the year (around 619 CE) in which both the Prophet's wife Khadijah (RA) and his uncle Abu Talib died, depriving him of key emotional and protective support during a difficult period in Makkah.

What was the Mawakhat in Madinah, and what was its purpose?
Mawakhat was the bond of brotherhood the Prophet (PBUH) established between the Muhajirin (Makkan migrants) and the Ansar (Madinan helpers), enabling mutual support, economic sharing, and social integration.

When did the Conquest of Makkah (Fath-e-Makkah) take place, and what was notable about the Prophet's conduct?
