In coding-decoding problems, what is the basic approach?
Identify the pattern or rule (letter shift, reversal, number substitution) linking the code to the original word, then apply it to decode or encode.
What is non-verbal reasoning?
Reasoning based on visual figures, patterns, shapes, and diagrams rather than words, including series, analogies, mirror images, and embedded figures.
In a mirror image question, how does the image change?
Left and right are reversed (laterally inverted) while top and bottom remain unchanged.
In a water image question, how does the image change?
Top and bottom are reversed (vertically inverted) while left and right remain unchanged.
What is analytical reasoning based on seating arrangement?
Deducing positions of people or objects from given conditions, using diagrams for linear, circular, or rectangular arrangements.
In a circular seating arrangement facing the center, how are left and right oriented?
For a person facing the center, their right is clockwise's neighbour's side opposite to a linear view—right hand points anticlockwise and left hand points clockwise relative to the circle.
What is the simple interest formula?
SI = (P × R × T) / 100, where P is principal, R is annual rate, and T is time in years.
What is the compound interest formula for amount compounded annually?
A = P(1 + R/100)^T, and CI = A − P.
How do you calculate percentage increase?
Percentage increase = (Increase / Original value) × 100.

What is the sum of the interior angles of a triangle and of a quadrilateral?
A triangle's interior angles sum to 180°; a quadrilateral's sum to 360°.
What is data interpretation?
The skill of reading, analysing, and drawing conclusions from data presented in tables, bar graphs, line graphs, or pie charts.
In a pie chart, how do you convert a percentage into the corresponding central angle?
Multiply the percentage by 3.6, since 100% corresponds to 360° (1% = 3.6°).
