  15. What gas do plants absorb during photosynthesis and what gas do they release?

    They absorb carbon dioxide (CO2) and release oxygen (O2).

  16. What is the average of the first five even numbers (2, 4, 6, 8, 10)?

    6. (Sum = 30; 30 ÷ 5 = 6.)

  17. What is the formula relating speed, distance and time?

    Speed = Distance ÷ Time; therefore Distance = Speed × Time and Time = Distance ÷ Speed.

    Area = πr²; Circumference = 2πr, where r is the radius.
