Define the business terms 利润 (lìrùn), 成本 (chéngběn), and 营业额 (yíngyè'é).
利润 = profit. 成本 = cost. 营业额 = turnover/revenue. Relationship: $\text{利润} = \text{营业额} - \text{成本}$ (profit = revenue − cost).
What is 投资 (tóuzī), and what are the related terms 股票 and 股东?

What are 网络 (wǎngluò), 互联网 (hùliánwǎng), and 网站 (wǎngzhàn)?
网络 = network. 互联网 = the Internet. 网站 = website (网 = net/web, 站 = station/site).
In engineering Chinese, distinguish 温度 (wēndù), 压力 (yālì), and 速度 (sùdù), and give their SI units.
温度 = temperature, unit kelvin $K$ or degrees Celsius ${}^{\circ}\mathrm{C}$. 压力 = pressure, unit pascal $\mathrm{Pa}$. 速度 = velocity/speed, unit $\mathrm{m/s}$.
What is the Chinese technical vocabulary for the basic circuit quantities 电压, 电流, and 电阻, and what law relates them?
电压 = voltage ($V$), 电流 = current ($I$), 电阻 = resistance ($R$). They are related by Ohm's law: $V = I \cdot R$.
Give the Chinese terms for the arithmetic operations 加, 减, 乘, 除 and write the identity for area of a circle using 半径 (bànjìng).
加 = add (+), 减 = subtract (−), 乘 = multiply (×), 除 = divide (÷). 半径 = radius. Area of a circle: $A = \pi r^{2}$.
What are the Chinese terms 平方 (píngfāng), 立方 (lìfāng), and 平方根 (píngfānggēn)? Illustrate each with notation.
平方 = square, e.g. $x^{2}$. 立方 = cube, e.g. $x^{3}$. 平方根 = square root, e.g. $\sqrt{x}$. (立方根 = cube root, $\sqrt[3]{x}$.)

What are 频率 (pínlǜ) and 波长 (bōcháng) in physics Chinese, and how are they related to wave speed?
频率 = frequency (unit hertz, $\mathrm{Hz}$). 波长 = wavelength (unit $\mathrm{m}$). They relate to speed $v$ by $v = f \lambda$, where $f$ is 频率 and $\lambda$ is 波长.
Define the technical/scientific terms 质量 (zhìliàng) and 加速度 (jiāsùdù), and state Newton's second law using them.
质量 = mass ($m$, unit $\mathrm{kg}$). 加速度 = acceleration ($a$, unit $\mathrm{m/s^{2}}$). Newton's second law: $F = m a$, where $F$ is 力 (force, unit newton $\mathrm{N}$).
What this deck covers
The Advanced Vocabulary and Idioms deck follows the Chinese Advanced Vocabulary and Idioms syllabus — 2 chapters and 4 topics — so questions land on material that is genuinely examinable rather than trivia around it. That works out to roughly 25.0 cards per chapter.
Answers are written to be recallable, not just readable — averaging about 137 characters, which is long enough to carry the reasoning and short enough to say out loud.
A deck like this earns its keep on the second and third pass. Read the syllabus first so you know the shape of the subject, then use the cards to find the specific facts that have not stuck.
